When a competitor claimed they were first to launch an FP&A Copilot, we didn’t argue. We rewound.

In early 2024, Vena Copilot launched as a fully realized FP&A AI product—designed, built, and already in the hands of finance teams. But by late 2024, a direct competitor entered the market with a proof of concept—loudly positioning themselves as the category originator.

At our biggest finance event of the year, Excelerate 2025, we turned their claim into our moment.

The video also had a hidden thread. Vena's co-founder Rishi Grover interrupts the voiceover mid-script — a meta moment that doubled as a setup. He later appeared live at Excelerate to talk about the product.
